Manchester Town Hall Wedding Lighting

The Town Hall closed to the public from Monday 15 January 2018 until the completion of work to refurbish, repair and partially restore the building in 2024 blue wedding lighting

If like me and you like old buildings you will love holding your wedding in Manchester Town Hall.

It the perfect back drop for your wedding day photos. Every time I am in the town hall I see something new. 

Manchester Town hall is steeped in a wealth of history and exudes an elegance rarely found elsewhere for those looking for a wedding, civil ceremony or reception with a difference the Town Hall in Manchester is the perfect choice.

Great Hall

This is the biggest function room in Manchester Town Hall. To bring the great hall fully alive it takes up to 46 floor standing led up lights, as I only use led lights they don’t get hot making the lights child friendly.

The picture on the left shows pink and purple lighting on the pillars and on the right Pink was the colour the bride picked for this wedding in the Great Hall.

Banqueting Hall

I have provided both discos and up lighting in the Banqueting hall many times. There are fantastic views over Albert square from the huge windows. The Banqueting hall is the most used room for wedding receptions in the town hall. In the wedding pictures below they show red uplighting.

Lord Mayor’s Parlour

This is a perfect room for a intimate wedding. the wedding pictures below show a early set up, background music during the wedding breakfast and after the speeches we went straight in to evening disco.

Great Hall Disco and Uplighting

Peter supplied lighting and DeeJayed at our wedding held in the Great Hall,Manchester Town Hall 25th may,from our first contact Peter gave us great advice.The whole day was perfect and Peters DJing was excellent,he played everything we asked for and more.The lighting was fantastic, the uplighters really gave the hall atmosphere and many guests commented how good they were and how good the DJ was too..The service Peter gave us was second to none..Total value for money..Excellent service, nothing seemed to much for him..Peter provided everything and more that we asked him too..

Lighting hire for Lee in the Great Hall

Peter recently provided lighting for our wedding at Manchester Town Hall. Peter was extremely helpful in suggesting what would be most effective and organising things with the Town Hall and the lighting looked fantastic on the day. Overall Peter provided a fantastic service and we would highly recommend them.

If there’s a better DJ out there I’d like to meet him. We couldn’t have asked for better or more friendly service. Nothing was too much effort for our big day.

Just wanted to say a big thank you from the two of us for providing the music (and occasional morale support!) for our wedding in June.

We really enjoyed the day & are convinced that having you play during the meal really set the scene & helped our families & friends to relax & enjoy themselves. One of our favourite memories is seeing our guests singing away to daydream believer and swaying in their seats – & they weren’t even drunk then!!
